04 — Why Ceramic

Why ceramic
outperforms.

Not all window film is the same. Dyed film is cheap, fades fast, and does very little in the heat. Metalized film blocks signal. Ceramic is the only film that does the job right — and keeps doing it.

Heat Rejection
Ceramic film blocks serious infrared heat — the kind that makes a black leather seat unusable in August. Your interior stays cooler and your AC stops fighting a losing battle.
99% UV Protection
UV is what cracks your dash, fades leather, and ages skin. Our ceramic film blocks 99% of it — every window, every day, even when the sun is hammering through.
No Purple Fade
Cheap dyed film breaks down under Carolina sun and shifts purple within a few summers. Ceramic tint holds its color indefinitely and is backed by our lifetime warranty.
Signal-Safe
Metalized films block phone signal, GPS, and toll transponders. Ceramic is non-metallic — everything works like it should, even Tesla’s sentry cameras.
05 — The Process

From quote
to cured film.

Every job follows the same four-step rhythm. No surprises, no hidden charges, no guesswork. You'll know what's happening and when.

  1. 01

    Quote & Schedule

Pick a service from the menu or send us a photo of the vehicle. We confirm the price and lock a time that works for you — usually within a day.

  2. 02

    Drop Off

Most installs take two to three hours. You can wait in the shop, grab coffee in NoDa, or come back at the end of the day — whatever fits your schedule.

  3. 03

    Precision Install

Every window is cleaned, squeegeed, and measured before film touches glass. Computer-cut patterns, hand-trimmed where it matters. No razor marks on your paint.

  4. 04

    Cure & Care

Film needs three to five days to fully cure — leave windows up, skip the car wash, and you’re good. We send a care sheet and stay available if you have questions.

06 — FAQ

Questions,
answered.

Yes — within the state's VLT limits. North Carolina allows 35% VLT on front side windows and 35% on rear side and back windows, with a 5-inch non-reflective strip on the windshield. We always install to legal limits unless the vehicle qualifies for a medical exemption.
Most sedans and coupes take two to three hours. Larger SUVs and trucks are usually two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half hours. Full coverage plus a windshield can push closer to four hours. We quote time alongside price.
Wait three to five days in warm weather, longer in cool or humid conditions. Rolling down the windows too early can catch the edge and lift the film before it's fully cured. We'll walk you through after-care the day you pick up the vehicle.
No. Ceramic film is non-metallic, so it won't interfere with cellular signal, GPS, toll transponders, radar detectors, or Tesla sentry cameras. This is the main reason we don't install metalized film.
Properly installed ceramic film lasts indefinitely. Every install here is backed by a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, and color shift. If anything goes wrong with the film, we fix it at no cost.
Yes — these all need a personalized quote. Use the contact form with a photo of the vehicle and we'll get back to you with pricing within a business day.
Different products. Ceramic window tint is film applied to glass — it reduces heat, blocks UV, and adds privacy. Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your paint — it makes the clear coat hydrophobic and protects against contaminants. We do both.
